Palmer Course (The K Club)Designed by Arnold Palmer, home of the Smurfit European Open and host to the 2006 Ryder Cup, the K Club has established itself as one of the principal venues in European golf. At 7,179 yards with a par of 72, the winding fairways of the Palmer Course cleverly incorporate the old trees and water hazards, making it the course that is being talked about all round the world today. Smurfit Course (The K Club)The Smurfit Course (originally known as the South Course) offers a completely different but equally severe test of golf. It has all the appearance and feel of an inland links, with undulating fairways, large difficult greens and treacherous rough. The Smurfit Course does however share the same abundance of challenging water hazards as the Palmer. With a length from the back tees of 7,300 yards, it has held the Smurfit European Open. However, it will accommodate all levels of player, with four or five tees on each hole so that the overall length can be considerably reduced. 18 holes. Par 72. 7300 yards. Inland. Show scorecard.
