St Jean de Luz, Aquitaine (20 mins from Biarritz)
The nearest hotel to the course is the Grand Hôtel in St Jean de Luz although Biarritz isn’t far and there you have a choice of good hotels from 3* through to 4* luxury.
Located on the banks of the River Nivelle, the course features plenty of mature trees and wide fairways. There are beautiful harbour views all over the course.
The course was founded in 1907 and was the idea of a hotel owner to be able to provide for the rich English tourists and the French summer tourists.
