Golf in GermanyIt is no surprise to find out that German golf extends beyond two-time Major winner, Bernhard Langer. The combination of beautiful countryside and fascinating cities, makes Germany an attractive prospect for the adventurous golfer. Whether it’s the Munich Beerfest, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, or the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, there are plenty of reasons to head to Deutschland, not least the 500 plus golf courses. The courses benefit from the variety of landscape, with Bavaria offering lush parkland, and plenty of trees, whilst Saxony offers lower terrain, with plenty of lakes and wind. Once the golf is over, what better way to ‘chew the fat’ than with a pint of world famous German beer, and a Bratwurst sausage?
