Le Golf National L'Albatros

The 2018 Ryder Cup venue, Le Golf National near Versailles, also know as the Albatros course, is a real gem of a French golf course where good course management is the key to a successful round. Combining the traditional feel of a links with the modern features of target golf, it is also the host of the French Open and offers a truly memorable 18 holes. The greens are the biggest challenge as they have been expertly shaped around water features and sprinkled with bunkers. Le Golf National L'Aigle

Designed with all golfers in mind, this course will test all who play and is a fantastic second course to the main Albatros course. The wide fairways allow you to make use of your driver, especially as there aren't too many bunkers about. Like its counterpart, it has a links feel to it and the hillocks and tufts of high grass can cause a few problems. Overall it is an enjoyable round that should allow you to play to handicap. As the Golf National has recently been awarded the 2018 Ryder Cup, this course and its bigger brother, will get more and more popular with people on their French golf holidays.

Le Golf National L'Oiselet

This 9 hole track has been specially designed for practice and all kinds of "on-course" situations are simulated. The narrow fairways require you to use your "golfing brain" as placement is key, making this a great introduction before stepping on to the club's main attractions.
