Set within a magnificent woodland is one of Europe’s most prestigious courses. The course has 18 very different holes combining large greens and bunkers and tight fairways for a truly spectacular round.
One of Europe’s most prestigious courses. The golf course unfolds in a magnificent wooded landscape of 87 hectares. This 18-hole course, of international standards, was inaugurated in 1989.
Pete and PB Dye, two world-renowned American golf architects, chose the Provence to build their unique European jewel. Their design combines the love for nature with technical flair, and is ornamented by six vast lakes in the pure tradition of modern American golf design.

For the independent expert Golf de Barbaroux is one of the rare golf courses where every hole is ‘unforgettable’ and where the greens are fast and honest. Golf Magazine stated that this course was ‘architectural brilliance’ and they felt that the course was a monument to golf, particularly difficult, but as is often the case with a truly great course that are well designed, permitting players of all levels, from different tees, to fully enjoy this splendid course.
