Quite simply this is golf break heaven. We recommend that you play both La Mer and La Foret on your break. They’re must plays if you come to this part of France.

Golf courses
Golf du Touquet has two outstanding golf courses. The Championship, “La Mer” is the more difficult of the two and reminiscent to a Scottish Links. “La Foret” is the older golf course with a traditional woodland layout. Le Touquet also has “Le Manoir”, a 9 hole golf course which is great for beginners or those just wanting to better their game.
Le Touquet La Foret (Golf du Touquet)
The Calm. Inaugurated in 1904, the 5659, par 71 La Foret Golf Course is set amongst a picturesque surrounding of pine forests. The tree lined fairways have a calm and peaceful atmosphere and are wide enough to suit all golfing abilities. Great moments of enjoyment can be had as La Foret provides some fantastic holes. Particularly look out for the 11th and 15th.

Le Touquet La Mer (Golf du Touquet)
The Challenge. Built in 1931 by the renowned architect Harry Colt, Le Touquet La Mer is a top 100 golf course in Europe and has been host to the French Open on numerous occasions which has subsequently enhanced the international reputation of Le Touquet Golf Club. The 6275 yard, par 72 golf course is laid out amongst undulating dunes and is exposed to tricky Channel winds requiring an accurate approach of play. La Mer is fully equipped with dramatic views and wild landscapes and offers a challenging game to the golfer who dares to take it on.
