Great golf in Galway

The Galway Bay Golf Resort is ideally placed for your golf trip to the West Coast of Ireland. Just 25 minutes from the town centre and easily accessible from the M6, it features a Christy O’Connor Jnr-designed layout set against the stunning backdrop of the Atlantic coastline and Galway Bay. Watch out for the wind as this coastal course can be a tough test, with the ever-changing elements on this rugged stretch of land.

For golfers looking to push the elements to the extreme, the stunning Championship Golf Links at Connemara is a test of golf unlike any other. Nestled between the 12 Bens Mountain Range and the Atlantic Ocean, this isolated layout is a real treat. The course has been voted the ‘Best Links Course in Connaught’ on numerous occasions, and with 27-holes on-site, it’s a crime to not squeeze in an extra few holes after making the journey out to Connemara!

Spectacular views, fresh sea air & more

Famed for its hospitality, vibrant colourful towns and stunning Atlantic Coast, it’s little wonder Galway is one of Ireland’s most popular cities. The rugged peninsula setting makes it ideal for links golf, and some of the country’s finest parklands can be found here.

Home to the wonderful seaside courses that golfers immediately associate with the Emerald Isle, you’ll find a top-quality, fantastic value golf break where you can relax and soak up the fresh sea air.
