Good location for some tough golf courses, over charged due to system errors ?

The hotel is decent but a little behind the curve in dealing with the public. It has a feeling of a travelodge with a gym and driving range added on the building. Everybody seems to be trying their best but there seemed to be a lack of direction at the top (I did not once see a manager on the floor and thus was not once asked for an opinion). As such, without much leadership there is a feeling of people going through the motions. Add on a few time restrictions (driving range opening at 9am in August is not much use if you have an 8am tee time at one of the excellent local golf courses) and it doesn't feel like the added on value is there. In summary, good people, absent leadership and direction.
