FOTA island was amazing the hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived everyone was so helpful we felt so welcomed Carton House could learn a lot from this hotel. We ate in both restaurants and the food was very good , the big differance was most of the staff at FOTA was Irish and there is no doubt that they love people and have that natural way with everyone they were amazing, we will be going back soon . The golf courses were not as good as Carton but we still enjoyed them the Beverlly was the best one, some very nice holes. The only complaint was on the Sunday when we played the Deerpark we were behind a group of 30 some were none golfers just out for a hack, and it took us 51/2 hours to play the round which did spoil our round .
