The Championship layout at Forest Pines Golf & Spa Hotel was opened in 1996, and consists of a unique 27-hole layout, now renowned as one of the UK’s must play courses.
The three loops of 9 at Forest Pines gives golfers the option of mixing and matching the courses, to effectively custom pick the holes they choose to play. All three nines are of a great standard and the variations available make people want to come back to Forest Pines again and again.
Pines Course (Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort)
The selection of three 9-hole golf courses to combine as you wish makes Forest Pines Golf & Spa Hotel a great option for a golf break. The three nines are called the Pines, Beeches and Forest, all of which have their own individual characteristics and in turn their own challenges.
The Pines course matched with the Forest course makes the longest combination at 6,882-yards in length, giving the big hitters a slight advantage, but the Beeches, although shorter, includes numerous challenges, such as the signature 7th hole, which claimed over 6,000 golf balls in its water hazard in a little over a year.
