Can you book my tee times?

Yes, we book and confirm your tee times along with other elements of your golf trip. If you wish to make a booking please enquire here

Can I book a golf only trip?

Yes, we can supply quotes for European and World Wide golf courses with a minimum of 3 golf rounds. If you would like to make a tee time booking you can do so via our enquiry form.

Are buggies included in the package price?

If your booking includes buggies it will show under the important notes section of your confirmation. Buggies however are not generally included in the price but can be requested through your sales consultant.

How do I book buggies?

Buggies not included in your package are treated as a request. To request buggies please speak with your Sales Consultant prior to booking. If you have an existing booking please submit your request via our ask a question form.

What happens if there is bad weather and I can't play my golf rounds?

Please see our inclement weather policy. Each hotel and golf course sets its own inclement weather policy. All decisions regarding partial refunds or green fee vouchers are solely at the discretion of the supplier.

Do I need coupons for my golf break?

All the details you need for your trip will be attached to your confirmation including coupons. Please print your confirmation and take it with you, if your confirmation does not include coupons, no coupons are required.

How early should I arrive before my tee time?

We recommend being ready to tee off 10 minutes prior to your confirmed tee time.

Accommodation

Can I include non-golfers in my break?

Yes, you can book a trip with non-golfers. Please make a note on the enquiry form, alternatively inform your Sales Consultant prior to booking.

What is included in a non-golfer package?

The majority of our non-golfer packages include accommodation, full use of leisure facilities and any meals the golfers have. However, some venues do charge a small fee for use of facilities. Please check with your Sales Consultant prior to booking.

Can I organise private dining?

Private dining can be organised but can be dependant on group size and venue. If you would like to arrange private dining please discuss this with the Sales Consultant at the time of booking. Please note private dining often comes at an additional cost which is set by the supplier.

Are your advertised prices based on two people sharing?

All prices advertised on the website are based on two people sharing a standard double or a standard twin room unless otherwised stated. Therefore, groups of an odd number may incur a supplement charge set by the supplier.

What time can I check-in to the hotel?

Check-in can vary for each venue. Standard check in time is from 14:00 onwards but can be confirmed with your sales agent at the time of booking. Early check-in and late check-out may be available but this can be subject to a charge.

How can I check the facilities that my hotel offers?

Each venue specific page on the website contains a list of facilities available to you on your golf trip. Click here to search for your hotel.

Travel

Are flights included in my package?

We offer flights to EU destinations for groups of 8+ and any group size for all destinations further afield. If flights are included in the package it will be stated on the bottom of the quote, if not stated on the quote the flights will come at an additional price. To enquire about flights please ask your Sales Consultant prior to booking.

Are transfers included in my package?

Transfers are often included for worldwide and European destinations.  Please check the important notes on your booking to ensure the transfers you require have been added. If you would like to add transfers to your booking, please submit your request via our ask a question form.

What baggage can I bring on my flight?

Baggage allowance varies depending on your airline. Please check what is included in your flight cost with your Sales Consultant prior to booking. If you have an existing booking, your allowance will be stated in the flight section of your confirmation.

Is club carriage included in my flight?

Club carriage is usually included in your flight quote unless we are specifically asked to remove it.  Please check what is included in your flight cost with your Sales Consultant prior to booking. If you have an existing booking, your club carriage will be stated in the flight section of your confirmation.

Can you organise car hire?

Car hire can be arranged for your trip. If you would like us to arrange car hire for you, please ask your Sales Consultant prior to booking.  Should you wish to add it on at a later date please contact the customer service by submitting your request via our ask a question form.

How can I upgrade/choose seats for my flight?

You can choose any extras or upgrades at the time of booking. If you wish to amend anything on your flight or book any extras, dependant on airline you can either do it online with the airline or submit your request via our ask a question form

How do I add my flight advance passenger information (API)?

All API needs to be submitted via our ask a question form. API is required at least 4 weeks before your flight for all EU flights. If you have a flight booking for a destination under our 'rest of world' department then you will need to log onto your airlines website provided in the flight section of your confirmation.

How do I get my transfer details?

Details of your transfers will be sent to you three weeks before travel and can be found in the transfers section of your confirmation. If you havn't booked your flights through Golfbreaks.com please email your flight information to transfers@golfbreaks.com any delays in providing your flight information could result in full cancellation charges.

Where can I find my flight details?

Once you have paid your full deposits, your flight information will be stated in the flights section of your confirmation. If you have booked flights independantly they will not appear on your Golfbreaks.com confirmation.

Amendments

Can I make changes after I have booked?

All changes must be made through the lead booker. Any changes will be dependent on availability, are subject to Golfbreaks.com and supplier cancelation policies. Any changes can be made by contacting us via our ask a question form

Will I be charged for making a change to my booking?

Golfbreaks.com do not charge any admin fees when making a change to your booking. Please note depending on the nature of your amendment there may be changes to your package price.

What happens if someone drops out?

Non-refundable deposits will be held and supplier cancellation fees may apply. For full details please contact us via our ask a question form.

When can I make changes to my booking?

Any amendments can be made up to the travel date.  All amendments are subject to availability and supplier cancellation policies. Our advice would be to make any amendments before your final balance due date to avoid disappointment and or cancellation charges.

What are your cancellation terms?

If you wish to cancel your booking you will need to notify the customer service department immediatley. Refunds will be subject to venue cancellation policies, please note deposits are non-refundable. For full details please contact us via our ask a question form.

Payments

How much is my deposit?

To secure your booking there is a non-refundable deposit of £35 per person. Please note, dependant on your supplier additional deposits may be required. This will be explained to you by your Sales Consultant prior to booking.

How can I pay?

You can make a payment online by logging into your account. Party members can also make an individual payment online, to do this send them the payment link which is found on your confirmation. Full payment terms can be found here.

When do I need to pay my final balance?

The final balance has to be paid 6 weeks before the travel date for breaks overseas and 4 weeks before the travel date for UK breaks. Please be aware that some bookings especially those including flights may have earlier deadlines, please check your confirmation for your balance deadlines.

Can a member of the group pay separate?

Party members can make an individual payment online, to do this send them the payment link which is found on your confirmation or on your booking summary online. To view online login here.

What do I do if I'm having problems making online payments?

How do I know who has paid?

The lead organiser can track all the payments made via their online account. To view these log in here. Payment confirmation emails will only be sent once full deposit or full balance has been recieved.

Can I get a VAT receipt?

We are a VAT registered company. However, we do not operate on the standard VAT scheme, but instead on the Tour Operators Margin Scheme (TOMS), as opposed to claiming VAT on our purchases and paying VAT on our sales therefore we are unable to provide a VAT receipt.

Can I get my deposit back?

All deposits are non-refundable.

Can I use more than one gift voucher per booking?

Yes, when paying with vouchers over the phone please provide all voucher reference numbers to your Consultant.

Breakpoints, Vouchers & Promotions

Do you have a loyalty scheme?

Yes, we offer a loyalty scheme. You earn 1 point for every £10 that you spend with us on a golf break on Golfbreaks.com. For more information about earning and spending points, please see our Breakpoints FAQ's page

Can I use pending Breakpoints on a booking?

How do I sign up for Breakpoints?

Once you have created a Golfbreaks account you will receive an email to opt in to the Breakpoints loyalty scheme. Follow the instructions on the email and you can start collecting Breakpoints with your next booking. Click here to create a new account

Do you offer gift vouchers?

You can buy gift vouchers as credit for a golf break here. Vouchers are available in £25, £50 and £100 denominations.

How long do vouchers last?

The expiry date can be found on the voucher issued. Vouchers expire one year after the purchase date, please note the booking travel date can be outside this period.

How do I redeem a promotion?

My Booking

I have booked my break but I have since seen it cheaper.

Booked breaks can be price matched up to 24 hours after booking, subject to proof of quoted prices being forwarded to your Sales Consultant.

Are you ATOL protected?

Golfbreaks.com is ATOL protected. Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on our website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. If your trip is covered, you will receive a certificate noting which parts are ATOL protected. For more information, visit our terms and condtions.

Is the price quoted vulnerable to exchange rate changes?

Bookings already made will be charged at the rate given at time of booking. If you are in the quoting process and the exchange rate changes, your quoted price may be subject to change.

Is travel insurance included in my break?

Travel insurance is not included with your booking. We do advise that you purchase travel insurance for your golf break.

You can book online with some of our UK suppliers. Those venues with packages available for online booking will have a 'book now' option.
