Benalup golf is an 18-hole par 73 Parkland course, which features many lakes and elevated greens. It has views over the “Laguna de la Janda”, a former lake now a natural reserve.
Benalup Golf is an 18 hole golf course featuring many water obstacles that will be a test to every golfer that graces its fairways. It has a splendid view of the “Laguna de la Janda”, which is an enormous plain where the lake once was. The naturally undulating fairways and greens along with the numerous trees make it a challenging but enjoyable round. On a clear day you are able to see the coast of Africa. So if great golf and a relaxing walk is what you’re after then you don’t need to look any further than adding this to your holiday itinerary.

The 18-hole par 72 links course was designed by Peter Aliss and Clive Clark. It’s the only links type golf course in southern Spain. The par 72 Heathland course, designed by Dave Thomas, was opened in October 2007 and offers more of an inland feel.

18-hole par 68 Parkland course designed by Manuel Piñero. It is a young and short course, with a few water hazards. It is quite flat but shaped in an attractive fashion. Provides excellent service.

The Fairplay Golf Hotel features 80 double suites distinguished by seven distinct decorative styles: Andalusian, Moroccan, Chinese, Balinese, English Colonial, African Colonial and Delvaux.
There are five superb onsite restaurants at Fairplay Golf that will more than refresh you after a day’s golfing. These include La Table, a fine Mediterranean restaurant combining local products with an international touch within an elegant dining atmosphere, and the Asian Restaurant which mixes Laotian, Thai and other South East Asian flavours to great affect. There’s an incredible spa centre which is split into two levels – dry and wet – and offers outstanding views of the surrounding countryside through its huge bay windows.
The superb Benalup Golf and Country Club is located onsite, but there are plenty of other activities available including tennis and horse riding. Night-time entertainment in The Boogie Bar (the hotel’s own jazz club) and at the resort’s own theatre (which can be converted into an open air arena) is available and the hotel is also located near the Alcornocles Natural Park.
