These are two of the most popular courses on the Algarve. The South Course favours the long hitter, but requires the skill to score well. The North is littered with umbrella pine trees and cleverly placed water hazards.
Pinheiros Altos now boasts three loops of nine including The Pines, Corks and Olives. Trees and lakes cover most of the course and set up a challenge for all levels of golfers.
Opened in 1967 The Old Course is often described as the Grande Dame of Algarve courses, it meanders throughout impressive pine trees and over gently undulating natural terrain.
This conventional Par-72 course opened in 2000. Designed by Hawtree this parkland course was originally part of the 27 hole Laguna layout.
Designed by Arnold Palmer Victoria is an 18-hole, par 72 championship layout, measuring 7,105 yards from the back tees. Several man-made lakes provide hazards for the players.
The course is typified by rolling parkland terrain covered with numerous umbrella and Atlantic pines that line many of the fairways, watch out for the water that comes into play on the first few holes
U.S. golf architect Joseph Lee designed this course which was opened in 1990. Laid out over low-lying coastal terrain the course has few trees but many water hazards!
Vila Sol is made up of three loops of nine, put together they make up one the best layouts in Portugal. The architect Donald Steel said, “Vila Sol is the living proof that dreams can come true”
The Royal Golf Course has rolling fairways set amidst pine trees and beautiful lakes. Features include the almost island green of the 9th and the famous 16th Par 3 over the cliffs.
The Ocean Golf Course features undulating fairways which run alongside a nature reserve, before leading gently down to the shores of the Atlantic.
