Alvor is a relatively small golf resort, just under an hour away from Faro airport. It is perfect for a quieter golf holiday with a great range of golf course to choose from. The town of Portimao is located nearby and is the place to head to when you are not playing enjoying a round on the golf course. Like many towns in Portugal, its main area is based around the marina with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to keep you entertained.
