Golf Holidays in the South of France
A golf break to the South of France will be slightly more pricey than other French golf regions, but you are paying for class, exclusivity and some of the finest golf courses and hotels France has to offer. Names like Cannes, Nice, Saint-Raphael and Saint-Tropez all spring to mind.
Flying in to Nice, head west towards Cannes for your South of France golf holiday. Venues like the exclusive Royal Mougins Golf Resort, the Chateau de Taulane and golf courses like the Cannes-Mougins are pure class. Further along the coast, the Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort is complete luxury with outstanding golf and spa options. The Golf Hotel de Valescure and Golf de Barbaroux are also must visits when in the region.
The scenic coastline continues along westwards until you hit the wine making region of Bandol and the lovely Dolce Fregate Resort up in the hills overlooking the idyllic town. Marseille is definitely the most convenient airport to fly in to for this resort.
Across to the Languedoc-Rousillon, having crossed over the Rhone river, you enter a South of France staple golf break destination. There are numerous resorts stretching down the coast towards the Spanish border, including the Spanish influenced Palmyra Golf Resort with the Golf Cap d’Agde, the Saint-Cyprien Golf Resort and Golf Hotel de Massane.
This vast area of France has a plethora of golf destinations, stunning year-round weather and quality in abundance from a golf course perspective - we couldn't recommend it more for your next south French golf trip.
