- This course needs a lot more attention if it is going to compete with others in the area. The greens had a major problem with fusarium as well as the occasional weed. The tees were also poorly maintained and the few bunkers had the appearance of patches of sand than anything well defined. It's a great pity as it could be a very attractive course. Although more to do with the standard of our play than the course, we did lose a lot of balls, as there is water on most holes, so if you do decide to make a visit put a few old ones in the bag. The bar and catering was basic but met our needs with a sandwich lunch.
