With our company founded and based in England, we might be slightly biased when talking about the quality of golf on offer here. With that caveat out of the way, we can’t wait to share some of this great country’s impeccable golfing options with you.

Whether you’re looking for historic links layouts, or heathlands based within the heartland of the country – explore some of our favourite staycation spots and the best golf destinations in England.

Southport

Perhaps the strongest collection of courses in the whole of England can be found in North West England; specifically in and around ‘England’s Golf Coast’. There are the three Royal courses at Birkdale, Lytham, and Hoylake, which are joined by the stunning properties at Hillside, Formby, St Anne’s Old Links, Fairhaven, West Lancs, Wallasey, and many many more!

Bournemouth

The real beauty of a trip to Bournemouth is the ability to pair some of these fabulous heathland gems with one of the liveliest towns in the UK, with an idyllic beach, and no-end of bars and restaurants. Our sales experts have enjoyed all the courses in the area (as well as many of the bars!) and are perfectly placed to create an itinerary that works for you and your group in and around Bournemouth.

Kent

The Kent coastline is home to the perfect three-course links tour. Between Royal St George’s, Royal Cinque Ports, and Princes, you’ll struggle to find three courses of such quality laid out within such close proximity. Indeed, the members at these courses play an annual competition that takes in all three properties on the same day, with competitors walking between each!

The is a true golfer’s paradise, with a stay at The Lodges putting you right on the doorstep of the action. Prince’s itself boasts 27-holes for golfers that really want to make the most of their trip, with first-rate practice facilities to boot. Those looking to head out in the evenings should head for either Sandwich or Deal, with both having a great selection of warmly welcoming pubs; perfect for a post-round debrief!

Birmingham & Warwickshire

The centre of the country is home to some of our favourite resorts. Between The Belfry, Forest of Arden, and The Warwickshire, there’s plenty of choice for a stay-and-play break, with some fantastic layouts to boot!

The Belfry undoubtedly carries the strongest name recognition in the area, with its Brabazon Course a frequent European Tour and Ryder Cup host venue. However, both the PGA National and Derby courses are also superb additions to a golfing holiday. Not to be outdone, the Forest of Arden was also a recent destination for the European Tour, with players, caddies and staff all staying on-site too during the amended 2020 season!
