Dunston Hall (De Vere Dunston Hall)
The Dunston Hall Golf Course has been made to naturally blend into the stunning scenery surrounding it. With a wealth of strategically placed bunkers and lakes, this par-71, 6,275-yard course takes you through a challenging path of wooded grounds that will challenge golfers of all standards to keep straight on the fairways. And make sure you take notice at Dunston Hall’s par-4 16th, with a tee box carved into the woodland at the highest peak of the course offering up some spectacular views.

Built on the River Tas in 1858 by Robert Kellet-Long, the building itself is an elegant grade II listed country house which, while still keeping many of its original features, manages to combine this with the feel and service of a 4* hotel. The AA Rosette awarded winning La Fontaine Restaurant caters to guests with a great selection of French and British cuisine, or alternatively guests can choose to dine in the renowned Carvery Restaurant basserie or the slightly less formal ‘Bunkers’ found in the clubhouse.
