Voted as the European Golf Resort of the Year 2005 at the International Golf Travel Market, Druids Glen offers two truly outstanding championship golf courses.
Druids Glen
18 holes, 71 par, 7016 yards. Parkland. The Druids Glen Golf Course was the renowned host of the Irish Open from 1996 to 1999 and was voted the European Golf Course of the Year in 2000/01. Nicknamed the 'Augusta of Europe', its reputation has been well earned over the years, and today the golf course plays as well as ever.
The golf course is a well rounded parkland design that will challenge the best of players, and the setting is ideal, with beautiful views of the Wicklow Mountains, giving the course a unique character that will keep the it at the forefront of Irish golf for years to come.
Druids Heath
18 holes, 71 par, 7434 yards. Heathland. The addition of the Druids Heath Golf Course to the Druids Glen offers a fantastic contrast to the primary course. With a distinctive links and heathland style the golf course has numerous holes overlooking the Irish Sea, and the back nine trails inland onto the undulating terrain of the Wicklow Mountains.
Features such as natural rock quarries, lakes, pot bunkers and a frequent stiff breeze add to the challenge of the course, which when played alongside the Druids Glen Golf Course, combine to make a truly memorable golf break.
