Dissapointed you cannot book a table to eat in the bar area. We were a party of 8 staying in hotel. There was no availability in main restaurant for dinner. We were informed if we were in the bar before 7pm we would have a 'better' chance of getting a table. We arrived at 645 pm and made ourselves known to the bar manager who had advised us to come early.
By 9pm we were still waiting for a table. Of course we enquired several times how long it was going to be but staff were not very accommodating. Eventually by 915 pm we suggested putting 3 small tables together (which we did ourselves) and carried chairs also.
Very poor organisation and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
