This spectacular course dates back to 1918 and has been extended and modified over the years by both Eddie Hackett and more recently, Donald Steel. This spectacular location on the Bartragh Peninsula, boasts some of the finest golfing terrain in the world and is famed for the magnificent sunsets that are seen from the impressive dunes. Ballina Golf Course, designed by Eddie Hackett, is an inviting 18 hole parkland course situated on the outskirts of the town on the Bonniconlon Road. The course is set against the scenic splendour of the Ox Mountains and majestic Nephin Range with panoramic views of rolling countryside, wooded acres and gorse clad hills, making it one of the most scenic parkland courses in the west of Ireland. Jack Charlton, former manager of the Irish Soccer Team, is an Honorary Life Member of Ballina Golf Club. He plays his golf at Ballina when he is not fishing the Moy, the world famous salmon river.

Carne Golf Links

The late Eddie Hackett created this monumental links course with as little disturbance as possible to the natural landscape in which it lies. Regarded as his greatest achievement alongside Waterville, a golf writer once described it as ‘God’s own course.’

Co. Sligo Golf Club (Rosses Point)

'The Point' is over 100 years old, has the magnificent backdrop of the Ben Bulben Mountain range and is known to some as one of the worlds' finest links.
