We had a confirmation email for having Dinner in the Brassey Restaurant from Golfbreaks.
If you are going to sit your guests in the Banquet Room then change your confirmation to say this.
    We felt annoyed about this.
Drinks took an eternity to arrive. Some of the items on our main course were not to the same temperature and we're lukewarm.
We could have got a better meal in another establishment if we would have known about us not being in the main Restaurant. Dinner service was also very slow.

A poor venue with little course management, shame as the course has real potential. Hotel had poorly trained staff who didn't know what to do and we're regularly on their own mobiles. A real shame as golfbreaks venues are usually really good. In two days we only saw one other golfer on the course, maybe this says it all. Shame.

Hotel was comfortable, clean and modern although restaurant chairs already need replacing! Service was OK although we had to wait over 20 minutes before even being asked if we wanted a drink! Food was good value for money and well prepared. In room checkout did not work despite my approving the credit card at check in!
