With fantastic views of the Arthur’s Seat and Calton Hill monuments, this golf course really offers something unique. Even though this golf course isn’t long by modern day standards, it is very tricky and there are a number of high risk/reward shots that can make or break a round here.
Craigentinny Golf Course
18 holes, 67 par, 5511 yards. Parkland.One of the stand out holes on this golf course is the right angle dogleg par 4, 10th. It requires great distance control to get past the initial set of trees, and then am long iron into the green from there. Hitting it too long or short from the tee shot can ruin the chances of hitting the green in regulation. There is an interesting mix of holes at Craigentinny, as well as fantastic panoramic views across the coast of Edinburgh looking across the North Sea.
