Cougar Point Course overview
Renovated by Gary Player in 2017, the Cougar Point course re-opened with rave reviews. Measuring in at 6814 from the tips and featuring 6 tee boxes, Cougar Point is the shortest course at Kiawah Island Resort, however, do not let the length deceive you as this is still a demanding test.
Tight fairways make driving the ball difficult and players will need to contend with water hazards throughout. Set in the beautiful marshes of South Carolina, Cougar Point will yield exceptional views of the Kiawah River. The course plays firm and fast and is kept up to typically high Kiawah Island standards.
Signature Holes
The signature hole on Cougar Point is the par-3 6th. Playing 180 yards from the back tees, golfers will hit their tee shot over the beautiful low country marshland. The deep yet narrow green is protected by a large bunker. To the left, players will get a clear view of the scenic Kiawah River.
