Club de Golf Las Ramblas - 4th Hole

Las Ramblas Golf Course Details

Las Ramblas Golf Course introduction

This is a great golf course designed by the famous Pepe Gancedo; although shorter than some of the other golf courses in the area, do not underestimate the challenges set out to test your ability.

Las Ramblas Golf Course information

26 holes, 72 par, 6310 yards. Parkland.

Set in a deep terrain, the course cuts across an old river bed and undulates up and down hills and ravines as progress along the course. There are plenty of blind tees to worry about and the par 5 5th hole is exposed to the prevailing wind, adding to the challenge and excitement. There are water hazards on 10 of the 18 holes, so this golf course requires thought and care when teeing off. The fairways are tights and the greens are quick, but there is some stunning scenery to be enjoyed. One of the most memorable holes is the par 5 4th, which requires drives over 2 gorges! This is a true test of skill to any golfer, and more than makes up for its length.

I loved this quirky and tricky tight course. Played with experienced players who knew the course layout and this was very necessary with many blind tee shots. All holes were interesting and needed planning on tee shots.
Very busy early October and our tee time was put back half hour by the course. Finished in the dark and course facilities were closed when we came off. No shower, not good.

Prestwick Ex company director and
Challenging course, with tight fairways and demanding carries. Was very busy the day we visited and play was slow, we only managed 14 holes in 4 hours. There were clearly more "players/holidamakers" than golfers, whilst you don't want to spoil peoples enjoyment this course is not for the beginner.
Overall, it would have been a great course to play if the pace of play had been better and I would certainly go back.
