De Zalze Course

18 holes, 72 par, 7024 yards. Parkland.

This enjoyable golf course was designed by Peter Matkovich and is situated in the De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate. The course offers a round that is well worth the drive from Cape Town, with the layout making the most of the stunning surrounding scenery and South African landscape. Placing a premium on accuracy off the tee, the course has an excellent mix of parkland holes with its main defences coming from the water features and oak tree-lined Blaauwklippen River that winds its way through the course. The classical style white clubhouse has some lovely features and the practice facilities are superb. A lovely course that offers incredible value for money.

Stellenbosch

18 holes, 72 par, 7189 yards. Parkland.

This championship parkland course is set in a stunning location in one of the most attractive destinations on the Cape. Host to a number of high profile South African tournaments including the South African Masters and the South African Open, Stellenbosch Golf Club carries a reputation indeed. The course is well protected from the wind when compared to those on the Cape Peninsula, something of a positive considering the relatively narrow fairways lined with numerous tree types. The par 5, 8th hole is a great test where an absolutely straight drive is needed in order to not drift into vines or bushes. Surrounded by mountains and vineyards, Stellenbosch Golf Club presents a fair challenge with some memorable holes and the chance to enjoy an excellent 19th hole.

Pearl Valley

18 holes, 72 par, 7481 yards. Links.

Host of the 2009 South African Open and providing one of the best golf experiences in the country, Pearl Valley was shaped by the vision of the great Jack Nicklaus. The course, surrounded by an exclusive 500-home residential development, features large undulating bunkers, fresh fairways and fast greens. The 4th hole is the signature and one of the most scenic of par 3’s. The water cuts in on the right and a greenside bunker awaits the cautious tee shot. This hole tests your ball striking and your nerve. Nestled in the heart of South Africa's beautiful Cape Winelands, Pearl Valley is recognized internationally as a prestigious destination for world-class golf and premium lifestyle.

Erinvale Golf Course

18 holes, 72 par, 7157 yards. Parkland.

Designed by Gary Player and host to the 1996 IGA World Cup of Golf, the Erinvale Golf Course is thought of as one of the best courses in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Situated at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains, it has spectacular views of False Bay and the Hottentots Holland mountain range in the east. The first nine holes are set within the lower part of the estate, whilst the second nine are on high, undulating ground where the surrounding views can really be enjoyed. Although the two nines offer different experiences, the reliability of superbly shaped greens and consistent putting surfaces runs throughout.

Clovelly Golf Course

18 holes, 72 par, 6456 yards. Parkland.

Clovelly Country Club is nestled in the pristine and tranquil Silvermine Valley, an area that winds its way down to the coast whilst being protected by the surrounding mountains. A good course for golfers of all levels, Clovelly is a playable parkland track that features some tree-lined fairways and well-positioned bunkers, whilst undulating gently as the round progresses. As one of the more established courses, Clovelly Golf Club provides its visitors with a memorable experience offering a classic golf club. A warm reception at the clubhouse and an enjoyable post round drink will be enjoyed.

Westlake

18 holes, 72 par, 6545 yards. Parkland.

Westlake Golf Club offers visitors an interesting round that is great for golfers of all levels. The layout is characterised by the towering trees that line many of its fairways, a couple of large water features and a number of well-placed greenside bunkers. Despite a number of doglegs golfers can manage a decent score with some good approach play and staying out of the trees off the tee! From the 1st to the 18th hole there are some beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding Silvermine Mountains to enjoy.

Milnerton

If you’re looking for a challenging course bursting with natural beauty, then Millerton Golf Club is for you. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the ReitVlei River with spectacular views of Table Mountain, this lush, links-type course offers a challenge to even the most experienced golfer - especially when the prevailing south east wind blows in the summer months. With tree-lined fairways, fast greens and at least seven spectacular water holes, Millerton offers a great golfing experience in South Africa.
