Hemel Hemstead area I'd like to putt
Great location for playing the Carnoustie courses. However the hotel needs a great deal of love and attention! I would strongly recommend staying at St Andrews and making a day out of Carnoustie.
There is no doubt in my view that the Hotel should be taken over by the Golf Courses and made into a combined resort with the Hotel in the same order as the excellent courses. There are no decent places other than the Hotel to eat so if the restaurant could be upgraded, it would be THE place in Carnoustie.
