Cardiff Golf Club introduction

Just two miles from the capital of Wales stands Cardiff Golf Club, one of South Wales’ premier golf clubs. Founded in 1922, the club has made a substantial contribution to Welsh golf having hosted many events, from Home Internationals to five Welsh Amateur Championships, and also several Welsh Professional Championships including when Ian Woosnam won shooting a course record. In 1999 the club opened its fantastic new clubhouse. The ground floor houses the spacious pro shop and club offices, while the first floor and balcony is home to both the Spike and Pugsley bars that offer commanding views over the golf course
