Wonderful golfcourse. a littebit off, but we knew that. Not so many people in the villas, and a little disturbance from ongoing construction of new houses. It would have been great to be able to rent a scooter or similar. Shuttle to Golfclub and to Hua Hin worked well.

    Edinburgh Walking Non Golfer for
We go to Black Mountain every year to Golf, stay, Spa and Eat. We were there on a B & B basis for 1 week and but we normally eat there at night.

Everything was as good as to be expect from this high class resort.
When we arrived we were advised the kitchen was closed and any food was very limited. This meant, having to take taxis to commute into Hua Hin each night to eat.
Breakfast and lunch was the same every day and not the normal standard.

However, in Black Mountain Management's defense, when they found out they did everything to try and accommodate us, and we were happy. Although the back and forth to Hua Hin I did not like, when not my choice.

So if you are planning to go there (semi out of season) it will do you no harm to check that all facilities are open as this does add to the total package, if that's what your requirements are.

It's not stopping me going back next year but if I had know that the kitchen was closed I would have stayed in Hua Hin and commuted for the Golf.

10/10 for the staff's efforts, under the circumstances.
