Championship golf & natural beauty in Barbados

If you’re fortunate enough to experience the wonders available in Barbados then you must not pass up the opportunity to play Royal Westmoreland Golf Course, the number one golf course on the island. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the championship layout is as challenging as it is rewarding with dramatic holes that are visually stunning yet might not offer much forgiveness off the tee or around the greens.

Similarly, The Green Monkey Course at Sandy Lane, the island’s second-best golf course, is beautiful to behold, the iconic green monkey shaped into one of the bunkers is world-famous. The course is a little challenging for novice golfers, however, there are an additional two courses onsite that are easier to play and just as pretty.

The Apes Hill Club cannot be overlooked when playing golf in Barbados, its dramatic holes present jaw-dropping landscapes across the island and out to sea. Where possible, make sure you use the courses natural contours to help post a good score, however, you may want to avoid the sharply edged bunkers.
