Villa Information
Set in a magnificent pinewood with a view of the golf course, Villas Aroeira offers a pleasant stay. The villas can range from 1 to three bedrooms and have all the amenities you could need: an open plan kitchen, lounge area and spacious bathrooms are on offer for guests. The ground floor villas come with a beautiful garden, and the upper level villas come with a balcony, with fantastic views of the Aroeira II golf course.
Facilities
The large swimming pool at Herdade da Aroeira is perfect for cooling down, or having a relaxing swim after a day on the golf course. However if you are looking for more action, there are 4 synthetic turf tennis courts open 7 days a week. This is ideal for a set or two with friends, or have lessons to brush up on your forehand.
Things to see and do
The popular city of Lisbon is only 25km away, and is full of gret things to see and do. The walking tours are a fun experience, allowing you to take in all the culture and history for yourself. If you are not so keen on walking, the vintage Tram 28 is perfect for seeing the sightis, including a visit to St George's Castle, Castelo de Sao Jorge. The views are breathtaking, and you can see the whole of Lisbon.
The Santa Justa Elevator is located in a gothic tower; although it is 45m high, it is a useful form of transportation between the Baixa and Bairro districts and is a famous landmark worth seeing. If this is a family golf holiday, Oceanario de Lisboa is a fantastic aquarium full of fascinating sealife. The facilties are superb and is a fun way of staying out of the heat for a few hours.
The golf resort is near the second largest shopping centre in Portugal, with plenty of designer shops and little boutiques to take your pick. The bars and restaurants are lively and freindly; the local food is exceptional. You can not only enjoy the surrounding golf but the shopping, culture and nightlife of this vibrant city: perfect for an action-packed golf holiday.

This resort is well suited to couples and smaller groups looking for something peaceful and relaxing on their golf holiday. Now complete with a shopping centre, coffee shop/bar and restaurant, there's no reason to leave the resort.
