This superb course opened in 2003 but belies its years, it feels surprisingly mature featuring views of the Monchique Mountains and is set amongst valleys, rivers and woodland.

Pinta & Gramacho are the two on site courses. Pinta is the harder of the two while Gramacho enjoys an 18 hole, 27 green layout.

The hotel was completely refurbished in 2003 and now boasts some of Portugal's most modern leisure facilities including a sauna, Turkish bath, indoor and outdoor pool, seven tennis courts and a driving range. There are 195 rooms on its six floors and most of them have a sea view and a balcony. Dining options are endless, with the hotel having three restaurants on site. The types of food on offer range from traditional Portuguese cuisine to Moroccan dining.
