De Vere Oulton Hall Customer Golf Day - 25th April 2008

2008’s second golf day was held at the fabulous De Vere Oulton Hall on a grey day that threatened rain, but luckily we escaped with just a quick shower.

10 of the Golfbreaks.com team were lucky to be joined by 67 of our top clients, to battle it out on the golf course!

Following a delicious breakfast, some pre match banter and some last minute tips from the Oulton Hall pro, the teams were announced and some fantastic (and not so fantastic) golf ensued around the challenging Park Course.

No matter what standard everyone was playing to, we were met by happy faces at every point on the course, which brightened even more at the sight of the BBQ that Oulton Hall had laid on for lunch. However everyone was keeping their cards close to their chests in hope of winning the Golfbreaks.com prize!

The afternoon saw more great play and some really good scores come in - we were all particularly impressed by the number of people who beat the Pro on the 2nd hole.

The atmosphere was intense as the teams met in the Claret Jug bar, eagerly awaiting both the results of the day and the results of their swing analysis….

The prize giving and a very entertaining video of the day followed a delicious 3-course meal in the Claret Jug. It really was a fantastic event, and such a great opportunity for us to meet some of our best clients!
