De Vere Oulton Hall Customer Golf Day - 13th October 2006

Our final client golf day of the year was hosted at one of our most popular venues: De Vere Oulton Hall 5* near Leeds. With 52 of our most established clients and 13 staff, the day promised to be a good one...and despite early heavy fog and the curse of Friday 13th hanging over us, everyone was keen to get out on the course and have a great day!

Foggy Start

The Dave Thomas designed golf course has recently been taken over and redeveloped by Oulton Hall. Although unable to see much further than 10 yards ahead of us initially, the teams went out in high spirits, and we were relieved to see some happy faces at the half-way house. The sun came out fully in the afternoon, giving everyone the opportunity to truly experience the course. The tuition at the start of the day clearly helped to produce some fine golfers...and the competition became fierce!

Following a quick dip in the pool for the early starters, and some post match banter in the bar, the eagerly awaited Golfbreaks.com results were announced:

Congratulations to the Winners! To wrap up a really enjoyable day, Oulton Hall provided us with a delicious early dinner in their stunning Repton Suite, and G3 with an incredible 15 minute video of the days events!
