Marriott Meon Valley Customer Golf Day - 25th July 2008
Our third and final golf day of 2008 was held at Marriott Meon Valley. It was perfect weather for golf - warm but not too bright, with the sun breaking through just in time for drinks on the terrace in the afternoon.
13 of the Golfbreaks.com team were lucky to be joined by 54 of our top customers, to battle it out on the golf course!
Following a delicious breakfast of bacon rolls in the newly renovated Zest Bar, some pre match banter and some last minute tips, the teams were announced and some fantastic (and not so fantastic) golf ensued around the challenging Meon Course, which thanks to Meon Valley was in top condition.
No matter what standard everyone was playing to, we were met by happy faces at every point on the course. However everyone was keeping their cards close to their chests in hope of winning the Golfbreaks.com prize!
The afternoon saw more great play and some really good scores come in.
The prize giving and speeches followed a delicious 3-course meal in the Charter Suite. It really was a fantastic event, and such a great opportunity for us to meet some of our best customers! Our thanks must also go to Meon Valley who were such great hosts for the day.
The atmosphere was intense as the teams eagerly awaiting both the results of the day and the competition winners….
