    Abersoch Golf Course Details

    Abersoch Golf Course introduction

Abersoch Golf Club is a very interesting place to play, offering a range of stunning golf holes and scenery. This golf course is made up with a series of links and parkland golf holes, something that is quite unique and great to play. Measuring just less than 6,000 yards, Abersoch isn’t a long course by modern day standards, but it more than makes up for it with tricky features and difficult tee shots.

    Abersoch Golf Course information

    18 holes, 69 par, 5847 yards. Links.

There are many memorable holes at Abersoch Golf Club, with its tight fairways, undulating sand dunes and enticing water features. This 1907 Vardon designed golf course is renowned for being in great condition all year round, a hidden gem on the Cambrian Coast in Snowdonia. The signature hole at Abersoch is the 246 yard, par 3, 3rd hole. From an elevated tee with panoramic views, this hole requires an accurate tee shot over gorse and water, to a sloping green protected by a bunker at the back.

First 11 holes very good but 12-17 (inland from first 11) were very different. They felt, and looked like a recent addition and completely at odds with the links flavour.
Unfortunately, being the last part of the course, it left you with a poorer impression.
